“It is the shadow that holds the clues."

It is a 111 day-the 11th day of the 1 st month, so you and I are blessed with triple 1 energy! And, I am told by my numerology friends that this is a powerful day. It is a day that will help you infuse your life with more light. In fact, it will help you to bring light to your shadow so that it can be healed by your consciousness. Your shadow contains all the parts of yourself that you have tried to hide or deny. It contains those dark aspects that you believe are not acceptable to your family, friends, and most important, yourself. It is the dark side that is stuffed deeply within your consciousness, hidden from yourself and others. It is the place where you tell yourself that there is "something wrong with me". or that "I’m not okay;" "I’m not lovable. I’m not deserving." I’m not worthy. In all likelihood it is a place that you do not want to visit often.

However, our shadows hold the essence of who we are. They are our most treasured gifts and by facing those aspects of ourselves, in reality, we become free to accept our glorious "totality"-the good, the bad, the light and the dark. Today, allow the energy of 111 to help you make peace with your shadows. When you do, you will no longer have to pretend to be someone you’re not. You will no longer have to prove you’re good enough. When you embrace your shadow you will no longer have to live in fear. Today allow yourself the gifts of your shadow and you will finally revel in all the glory of your true self. Then you will have the freedom to create the life you have always desired.

Just for today, I recognize that healing means to make whole and to accept all parts of myself-not just the parts I like, but all of me. I recognize that I have the power to heal myself and I consciously claim that power now. I am good enough and I know that Life loves me. And so it is
