Resilience is so overrated. So stop fighting so you won't need to bounce back!!
Today, the Universe wants us to stop fighting and choose to surrender. Surrender, however, doesn’t have to follow a fight. It doesn’t have to be a side effect of exhausting ourselves in some way, mentally, physically, or emotionally.
Surrender can be a choice to be easy in each moment, to nurture a sense of inner calm that can carry you through even the most difficult circumstances. It’s choosing not to create drama where it doesn’t need to be, and realizing life doesn’t have to feel like a series of conflicts and crises. It’s letting go of the need for control and realizing that, whatever happens, you will be okay. However, it's easier to say, “Be easy,” than it is to actually do it, ironically, because it takes effort to stop expelling so much effort—to refrain from spinning in circles in our heads and take life as it comes at us. But the good news is that you and I have countless opportunities to practice easing in the moment. Today, choose to surrender and be calm before you encounter conflict or drama. Today, set your intentions to remember that your power isn’t in your ability to fight life. It’s in recognizing when you don’t have to struggle. Today, choose to be calm. Choose to stop fighting and surrender.
Just for today, I surrender to what is. I let go of what was, and I have faith in what will be. I feel safe in the rhythm and flow of my ever-changing Life. I move through Life, knowing that I am divinely protected, guided, and loved. I am safe. It is only change. And everything is always working out for my highest good. And so it is.
