Your anger is trying to tell you something!
Anger is a hard emotion for most of us to feel. It’s got so much energy, so much force, so much intensity to it. And as an emotion, if we express anger, we usually get the most negative response back. Anger can be frightening and can seem to have a life of its own. However, when we suppress anger, when we don’t allow it to come up, it gets trapped in our bodies, wreaking havoc on our nervous systems and taking over our minds. Today, the Universe wants us to acknowledge that the source of your anger isn't, in reality, outside of you, but within. It is situations that activate your anger, and until you learn how to listen and deal with the anger, it will keep coming up over and over again, in ways that feel too overwhelming and painful. Today, instead of running from your anger, stop and try to feel and hear what it's telling you. Anger, like all emotions, can give us a unique understanding of what needs we have that aren’t being met. When we see the roots of what has activated the anger, we can see that there are often unmet needs to explore, and we can take care of those needs, instead of blowing our stack at someone else. Today, set your intentions to listen to what your anger and irritability are trying to tell you. Then, heed its call to get your needs met, rather than dwelling on how you've been wronged. Today, respect your anger, listen to it, and let it guide you on your path forward.
Just for today, I listen to my feelings, and I am gentle with myself. I know that all my feelings are my friends I accept all parts of myself. I recognize that I am worthy of so much more than I am currently accepting. I release all fear and doubt and Life becomes simple and easy for me. Everything is working out for my highest good. And all it truly well in my world. And so it is.
