Are you really willing?

Today begins a new chapter for us all. For your see, Jupiter, the expander of the zodiac, moves into a "square" with Saturn and Neptune, thus expanding those planets' energies.  Saturn is boundaries and physical order, whereas Neptune is ethereal and the dissolving of boundaries. Saturn is a harsh reality, whereas Neptune is our dreams and imagination. Having those two energies come together, along with the addition of Jupiter, creates a powerful portal for manifestation! I am told that this planetary alignment can turn our dreams (Neptune) into reality (Saturn), and Jupiter helps to magnify our potential! However, do not get overly excited about this new opportunity to manifest because we may also find that the combination of this energy can bring us face to face with some harsh realities, or get us thinking about the unhealthy ways to escape those harsh realities. 

The key to weathering this cosmic storm is to create balance between all the energies surrounding you.  Finding a balance between Jupiter's expansive energy, Saturn's limitations, and  Neptune's dreaminess and practical reality will be key to successfully navigating this period.  You see,  Jupiter can fuel an unrealistic positivity that can lead you down routes that go nowhere. While it may feel good to think positive thoughts, you may be so out of touch with reality that it prevents you from achieving anything real. In truth, you may trip out on a fantasy and squander an opportunity for real, meaningful growth.

Today, set your intentions for the next month to keep yourself grounded and balanced.  Be willing to see some harsh realities and be willing to stay positive and not to succumb to discouragement or disappointment.  Be willing to let go of what you thought your life should look like and allow new life to unfold. Remember that even in chaos, there is growth; look for it today. 

Just for today, I trust the power that created me to protect me, love me, and guide me no matter what. And so it is.

Supported

The past couple of months have challenged even the toughest of us. It may have left you feeling unsupported and unsafe. And when we feel unsafe and unsupported, our life feels unsafe and out of control. For you see, life flows when we find ways to support ourselves through the ups and downs, challenges, victories, lessons, and healing we may experience. And when we feel supported, we can more easily step out of our comfort zone, push our limits, and create a beautiful life where we are open to growing and learning.

But we can't always receive that support from outside ourselves. So, today the Universe wants you to learn how to become your biggest supporter. Today, support yourself by stopping yourself from pointing out what is wrong with you and your life, and instead beginning to focus on the greatness within. Whatever it is you tell yourself, consciously stop pointing out all the negatives in your life today. Today, stop focusing on your weaknesses and all the reasons why something won’t work, and start focusing on your strengths and all the reasons why you can accomplish something and how you will feel when you are successful. Today, make a conscious effort to connect to those practices that bring you peace. Whether it be a walk in nature, meditation, or reading your favorite book, consciously make time for those activities that ground you and create peace in your mind and heart. Finally, find little or big things to be grateful for. Sharing your gratitude for all you have in life and all you are in life creates a supportive mindset. You are sending positive thoughts to the universe, focused on what supports you. Often in life, we wait around to receive support from others, or we think we are incapable of something if we do not receive the support. Today, consciously change your mindset around and understand that you can give yourself the support you desire in life. That unwavering support reflects in self-love, and we can all use a little more love in life! Today, become your biggest supporter and watch the universe support you in return.

Just for today, I treat myself as if I am someone I deeply love and tell myself I love you, no matter what. I forgive myself for all my mistakes and missteps. They have taught me so much and are only stepping stones. My goodness cannot be stopped. I am divinely guided and supported. I believe that everything is working out for my highest good. And so it is.

New Moon in Gemini=New YOU

We have a New Moon in Gemini and I am told it will bring us all some relief from the harsh energies that we have been experiencing. For the last few months, we have experienced a lot of severe change, upheaval, and complete and sometimes brutal transformation, but now, things are gently softening with the arrival of this New Moon. This New Moon asks us to practice patience and to be gentle with ourselves as we move through a new chapter of awareness and growth. And even though New Moons usually represent new beginnings,  this New Moon is calling us to let go and clear the past so we can fully step into the new energies. New Moon is asking us to fully let go of our past selves and get comfortable with a new way of being. Today, you can just set your intentions to use the New Moon energy to accept exactly where you are in this present moment.  Today, be gentle with yourself as you relearn how to be. Life may look different, but this New Moon will soften any harsh edges, allowing you to bring more acceptance to where you stand.  Today, be patient, treat yourself as someone you deeply love and trust that everything is always working out for your highest good. And so it is.

Just for today, I am gentle with myself as I uncover and release old negative messages within myself. I am willing to let go of who I was to become who I am now supposed to be. All is truly well in my world. And so it is.

Time

Most of us have a tendency to think we have it all figured out. When it should happen, how it should happen, who it should happen with—and, of course,  before it’s “too late.” We think we know what the timing of our lives should be. And yet, over and over, we are taught that it is only with time that we can understand our purpose here on earth. Today, the Universe wants to remind us that time will reveal everything, so we must be patient with the process. Furthermore, despite our need to be doing something to make something happen, sometimes, there is nothing else we can do but give ourselves time, patience, and trust that we will figure it out. We need to trust that we will get where we need to be; we must let time do its thing.  Today, set your intentions to accept exactly where you are. You are a powerful creator in life, but the truth is, you are not in this alone. Other forces are at play, and for the most part, to your benefit. This is how we grow and develop.  We intend. We make incremental changes. We show up in whatever way we can. Only with time can we allow everything to come to fruition, harmonizing all aspects in such a creative way that if we were to look back on it, we would marvel at the perfection of it all. Today, trust in the perfection of your life and let yourself be fully present, exactly where you are in this moment. Trust that you are exactly where you are supposed to be. Today, be patient and know that what you have to look forward to is greater than what you left behind. And trust that you will “arrive” in time and on time, not a minute sooner. Today, trust in the divine timing of life.

Just for today, I am patient with the process of life. I surrender to what is. I let go of what was and I have faith in what will be. And so it is.

Ghosting

We have an epidemic of ghosting in our country. Ghosting, the act of disappearing, is not only irresponsible and immature, but it is basically cowardly. The same cowards who use ghosting on a regular basis are the same cowards who voted for Donald Trump and who follow the herd, even off the side of a cliff. They are ruled by fear and are unable to rise above their fear to see the truth. They are ruled by mediocrity and can’t look beyond their own fear to see the truth.

I am often a victim of ghosting, whether from a headhunter, a so-called friend, or a coworker. Ghosting is just another symptom of how truly awful our world has become. We live in a time without morality or common courtesy. We live in a time of Trump and his mindless followers. We live in a time of hatred and anger, murder and genocide.

So, if you are a ghoster, you truly need to look in the mirror and see what a coward you are. Ghosting is a sign of extraordinarily bad character and weakness. So I end this post by telling you weak cowards to fuck yourselves. You are no longer important because you are a ghost.

Change..you can count on it.

Everything is constantly changing. Whether it is the seasons, the month, the week, or the time of day, you can count on change to happen. And yet, ironically, change still can throw us for a loop!

In truth, as humans, we want change to happen only as we envisioned it, and then we want to move forward without processing where we have been and how we got there. Today, as we start a new week, before we move out of Taurus and into the fresh energy of Gemini, which awaits us tomorrow, set your intentions to not only embrace the new, fresh energy but also to acknowledge the past experiences that have led you to this moment. Today, take some time to acknowledge what you have learned from your most recent struggles and suffering and how you might use those lessons in the future. Moving on to lighter energy without acknowledging the heaviness that you are emerging from is a waste of those experiences. So today, create some time to learn your lessons and then let them go to prepare for new experiences that will not include what you have been suffering and struggling with. Today, consciously prepare yourself for the change that awaits you by reclaiming your energy, being present and mindful, and letting go of resistance to change. Today, consciously set your intentions to practice self-compassion and self-kindness, and acknowledge your strengths and accomplishments. Today, welcome in the change that's going to happen anyway, whether you are ready or not. Today, learn from your past, then let it go because change awaits you every minute of every day. Be ready today.

Just for today, I trust my inner wisdom and I make decisions with ease. I allow myself to be quiet and still and I am amazed at what I discover, Life is just waiting to share its secrets with me. I recognize that all that I seek is already within me. I am safe. It is only change and everything is always working out for my highest good. And so it is.

Stress can make you sick

Stress, anxiety, and worry have become part of our everyday existence and our everyday lingo. Despite the fact that we all know that worrying is a waste of time, stress can make you sick, and anxiety needs to be managed, we all still continue to allow stress, worry, and anxiety to take over our lives, as if we are powerless to change them.  Today, it is time to acknowledge that you do not need to be constantly stressed or worried, even if your ego tells you that your worrying is doing something to an already tenuous experience. It is time to acknowledge that worrying and stressing are a waste of time and will eventually make you physically sick. For you see,  chronic stress is hazardous to your health and can lead to early death from heart disease, cancer and other health problems. And it turns out it doesn't matter whether the stress comes from major life events or minor problems; both can be deadly. And it may be that it's not the stress from major life events like divorce, illness, and job loss trickling down to everyday life that gets you; it's how you react to the smaller, everyday stress that, in the end, will make you physically sick! Today, give yourself permission to stop worrying and to find ways to minimize or eliminate all the stress that keeps you up at night or your nerves revving all day. Today, you can choose to stop wasting your time worrying. You can choose to be in the moment and trust the one following it. You can’t always control what tomorrow or your future will look like, but you can know that more often than not, it will lead to something good if you are genuinely open to what the uncertainty of the future can bring you. Today, know that on the other side of worry, there’s trust. You can't always trust in specifics, but you can trust in yourself and you can trust in Life. Choose to release all your need to control. Choose to let go of the worry and stress you have been holding onto. Choose to live in this present and choose to trust.

Just for today, I choose to trust in divine timing. I choose to let go of my need to worry. I now trust that everything is working out for my highest good. And so it is.

Samsara-the birth, death, rebirth cycle

In truth, every one of us was born to die. And in fact, we practice “dying” over and over again during our lives.  It’s sometimes referred to as “shamanic death,” which is really dying to the old self or the old way of being, so that you can be “reborn” as a "new" you with a little more wisdom and clarity and a little less baggage. It seems that little pieces of ourselves die off throughout our lives. Our relationships end if we have the courage to allow them to die. Our pursuit of happiness and goals die off as they lose their meaning or importance, and new ones replace them. However, as humans, as much as we fear the final physical death, we fear the little deaths along the way by holding onto what no longer serves us with dear life.  Today, accept that people, places, things, and beliefs will die off throughout your life. Today, let them. Allow your old identities, relationships, and anything that used to have meaning to easily fall away so you can allow all new to be born.  So you can be reborn. Today, acknowledge that in every moment, you have the chance to re-invent yourself -to be reborn by letting go. Today, choose to let go so you can be reborn again.

Just for today, I surrender to what is. I let go of what was and I have faith in what will be. I lovingly forgive and release of the past. I am now free to create the life I desire. I am safe, divinely guided and protected. Out of this situation only good will come. And so it is

Full Moon in Scorpio

We have a Full Moon in Scorpio. Scorpio represents transformation and the cycles of death and rebirth. Therefore, with the Moon in Scorpio, we are being given the opportunity to peel back the deepest layers and find new wisdom or, perhaps a whole new way of being. Peeling back layers can be a painful process and can stir a lot of emotions, but there is also a magic to digging deeper and allowing ourselves to access the more hidden parts of our being. So, today allow the Full Moon energies to assist you in letting go of all the heaviness you have been holding onto. Be gentle with yourself, and recognize that this Full Moon holds both dark and light. And, its message is to not shy away from the shadows you may see, instead lean into them because that is where the real transformation and magic unfolds. In truth, the more you can be real with yourself and how you are feeling, the easier time we will have navigating whatever unfolds under the power of this Full Moon in Scorpio. Today, set your intentions to leave who you were; to love who you are and look forward to who you will become.

Just for today, I am willing to let go. I am willing to release the need to be unworthy. I am worthy of the very best in Life and I now lovingly allow myself to accept it. I accept all parts of myself. I recognize that healing means to make whole and accept all parts of myself, not just the ones I like. I release all negative thoughts of the past and all worries of the future. I let go of everything and everyone that no longer serves any purpose in my life. Life supports me in every possible way and everything is always working out for my highest good.

What are you dwelling on?

Whatever you dwell on, you are sure to get more of! After months of self imposed suffering today, the Universe wants us to stop dwelling on everything and everyone we do not want in our lives. Instead, we would benefit from focusing on all we desire, rather than what we don’t. Today, consciously claim your power to focus on positive thoughts. Accept that the more energy you give to the things that are weighing you down, the more weighted down you will feel. Today,  set your intentions to focus on the outcome you are after, rather than the problems you are currently navigating. While this is easier said than done, you know what you want and what you want to feel like. So, dwell on those things. Today, focus on those things. Allow all your stressors, aggressors, energy suckers and anything that has taken away your joy for life to fall away. Do not give them any of your precious time.  Today, remember when you choose to dwell on what you do not want, that is exactly what you will get more of.

Just for today, I know that if I dwell on what I do not want, that is exactly what I will get more of. I am willing to let go. I believe in myself no matter what other people say or do. I am in the process of making positive changes in my life. And so it is.

Passive Aggressive no more

Many of us struggle with speaking our truth and finding healthy ways to express our needs and then to get those needs met.  We are taught that we need to be positive all the time. And, our need to show the world a positive front at all times, can lead us to acting passively aggressive. For you see, our inability to ask for what we want is a heavy burden. And, if we can’t be assertive and ask for what we want, we have to beat around the bush to achieve the same result, and that’s why so many of us suffer from people pleasing and passive-aggressive behavior. Behind passive-aggression lies a valley filled to the brim with anger and hostility. When this valley can no longer support all the pent-up negativity, it will come out in a furious outburst that can leave the people around you dazed and confused.  Today, the Universe wants us to feel our feelings and know we deserve to express them in healthy, assertive ways. Today,  choose to be direct rather than indirect. Choose to express your needs, wants, and feelings clearly so that others know how to meet your needs. Today, consciously set your intentions to stop using passive aggression to get what you want. You may lose some friends by finally being direct and speaking your truth because people have gotten used to the people-pleasing you. However, it will be worth it. If you’re engaging in passive-aggressive behavior, it’s time to have the courage to confront yourself, because what lies on the other side is infinite possibility. Today, don’t let the fear of people's thoughts and opinions stop you from speaking your mind. Speak up today, you deserve to be heard!

Just for today, I have the power to speak my truth. I have the courage to ask for what I want.  I am worthy of all that is good. And so it is.

Shame

Shame, we all have it, and yet no one likes to talk about!  However, it only gets worse when it remains hidden away. So, today it is time to shine a light upon your shame.

Shame is the intensely painful feeling or experience of believing you are flawed and therefore unworthy of love, belonging, and connection. At its core, shame is rooted in our universal need and desire to be loved. And the truth is, we all carry shame within us. The only people who don’t experience shame are those who lack the capacity for empathy and human connection. And despite shame being a universal emotion, most of us are afraid to talk about it. Sometimes we can feel shame when we say the word “shame.” But the less we talk about it, the more control it has over us.

Today, begin to shine a light upon your shame and expose it for what it is- fear! Today, you can start to rewire your shame filter with new experiences of self-empathy and self-compassion. Today,  understand that you did your best in any situation, and shower yourself with love and compassion, for those situations that you may have just fell apart or generally "screwed" up. It’s scary bringing shame to light, but the minute you allow yourself to do so,   you will step into newfound freedom. The minute you shine a light upon what you feel most shameful about is the moment you begin to heal! Today, accept that you do not need to be fixed. Accept that you deserve love, belonging, and connection. We all do; no matter what has happened in the past, no matter what the future holds. Right now, you deserve and are worthy of love, belonging, and connection. Today, accept your flaws, mistakes, and missteps, forgive yourself, and acknowledge that you deserve all that is good in this life just because you exist. 

Just for today, I release the need to judge or criticize myself.  I am doing the best I can with the knowledge, understanding, and awareness that I have right now. I forgive myself for all past perceived wrongs. I am now free to love myself exactly as I am. I release all shame from the past. I am willing to release it and live in this moment. Life supports me in every way and out of this situation only good will come. And so it is.

Let it all just be..

Life can be hard, and it can be so easy to get yourself so stressed out that you forget the entire point, which is to live it, not to suffer through it. And before you know it, it's almost over, and you begin to wonder why you wasted so much time worrying, wondering, and fearing the unknown. You awaken to how insignificant other people's opinions are and how your opinion of yourself is the only one that matters in the end.

Today, consciously rise above what has been stressing you out and accept that it will end. Today,  look for new ways to live and enjoy the life you have been given. Today, consciously let people be who they are and allow yourself to be exactly who you are without criticism, judgment, or comparison. Today, set your intentions to let go of the need to know what comes next. Let go of all your disappointment, anger, and the hurt you continue to hold onto. Today, know that if you worry about what might be, and wonder what might have been, you will ignore what is, and that is, in truth, the only real thing. Today, stay present it is where you will find peace and your truth.

Just for today, I acknowledge that other people's opinions mean nothing. My opinion of myself is the only one that counts. It does not matter what other people say or do. What does matter is how I choose to react and what I choose to believe about myself. I now choose to live in a new way, and everything works out for my highest good. And so it is.
