Waiting for the other shoe to drop?
Sometimes even when all is truly well in our worlds, we can find ourselves waiting for the other shoe to drop? However, waiting for the other shoe to drop is one way that you can rob yourself of feeling good in the now because you are nervously anticipating something negative will happen in the future. However, there is an antidote to constantly fearing what comes next and it is living fully in the present moment.
Today, make it your intention to live fully; accept that Life is a series of ebbs and flows; successes and perceived failures and highs and lows. But, by not constantly waiting for the bad stuff to happen, and instead focusing on the now, you can flow more easily, joyfully, and fully through this day. Your life is happening right in front of you. Don't miss it today!
Just for today, I confine my thinking and being to this present moment. I recognize that yesterday is in the past. I turn my total attention to this present moment. I live in the present moment and easily release past pain. I live in the present moment by being grateful for all of my life experiences. I am grateful. I am always safe and everything is working out for my highest good. And so it is.
