Self talk

Every thought you think is creating your future. And, every thought you think and every word you speak is an affirmation. All of your self-talk, your internal dialogue, is a stream of affirmations. You use affirmations every moment whether you know it or not. You are affirming and creating your life experiences with every word and thought.

Today, begin to become aware that you are indeed creating your life through your thoughts and words.. Even your complaints and self criticism are affirmations, even if they are affirming something that you do not want. In reality your negative self talk is creating more of exactly what you are complaining about or what you say you do not want. Every time you get angry, you are affirming that you want more anger in your life. Every time you feel like a victim, you are affirming that you want to continue to feel like a victim. If you feel and think that Life isn’t giving you what you want in your world and you focus and affirm that over and over, then you are affirming that you will never be open to the goodness of Life-that is, until you change the way you think and talk. And that happens today. Today, monitor your self talk. Monitor your complaints and your criticism of yourself. Today, choose your words wisely because they are creating your reality and your future.

Just for today, I monitor my self talk, making certain it is uplifting and supportive of myself and others. I do not fix my problems. I fix my thinking and then my problems fix themselves. I am in the process of making positive changes in every area of my life. And so it is.
