Alone but not lonely

Some people think it’s awful to spend time alone—that it means they are antisocial or that no one needs them or loves them. Some people feel sad and lonely when they don’t have company every evening or weekend. But being alone doesn’t mean that no one needs you or loves you. It can actually be quite useful to take some time to yourself. When you’re alone, nothing prevents you from listening to your inner voice, heart, and mind. Today, seek some solitude and allow yourself to tune into your inner voice that has so much to tell you. Today, don't be afraid of being alone. It can help you understand who you are, what you want, and what you can do to become more of who you are and what really makes you happy and fulfilled. Sometimes the best place you can be is alone. Enjoy the stillness.

Just for today, I recognize that my alone time is just as fulfilling as the time I spend with others. I always have the perfect balance between solitude and community. I allow myself to be quiet and still and I am amazed at what I discover. Life is just waiting to share its secrets with me. I am safe, divinely guided and protected and so it is.
