Patience

Patience is not really a virtue- that makes it sound easy and light. No, patience can be hard and it takes practice. And, patience is really about having the inner strength to stick to your guns, face your fears, repeatedly let go of your expectations, and have trust that it will all work out in the end. And, that is why having patience can seem to be so hard. Today, begin to become comfortable with the process of whatever you are becoming. Despite our own expectations, there really isn't any designated amount of time it takes to achieve your goals or to overcome your old beliefs and habits. If you are not finding completion now with whatever you have been working on, then there is something more for you to know, to learn. Being impatient will not speed up the process; it only wastes time. Today, set your intentions to be patient, to be fully present and to be willing to learn something new about yourself, today and every day.

Just for today, I recognize that patience is being at peace with the process of Life. I will not be distracted by noise, chatter, or setbacks. I will allow patience, commitment, grace and purpose to guide me. I am patient, tolerant and diplomatic. I can do anything when I put my heart and mind to it. I am safe and everything is working out for my highest good. And so it is.
