Beauty in the ordinary

"Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.”So often we focus on what’s lacking, what's "wrong" or what didn’t meet our expectations and as a result we miss the small moments of beauty and joy, which are always a part of our lives, if you look for them. Today, you can turn your feelings of frustration about who and what is not right in your life by focusing on the little things, on the beauty of nature and in truth the beauty in the ordinary. Today, set your intentions on changing what you are focusing your attention on. When you change your perspective, it will change everything. It will change your life.

Just for today, I choose to feel good about myself. Every morning I remind myself that I can make the choice to feel good. This is a new habit for me to cultivate. I now choose to release all hurt and resentment. I focus my attention on my many blessings and I watch them multiply. All is truly well in my world. And so it is.
